Texans on Mission jumped into action after a software glitch caused Heath, Texas, to send out a boil water notice.
Volunteers handed residents 4,000 bottles of water at First Baptist Church of Heath and donated some of the cases to the Department of Public Safety, a retirement community, and to high school band students practicing in the heat.
Heath is no longer under a boil water notice, and we’re thankful we had the resources to offer clean water at that point in time, said John Hall, TXM chief mission officer.
