Last month, a battle of the bands halftime show led to an opportunity to meet spiritual needs and feed band students from Prairie View A&M University and Grambling State University.
Westside Baptist Church Lewisville has hosted Prairie View A&M University students every year for the past six years. This year, they brought together both bands to eat and fellowship after the State Fair Classic in Dallas. After a joint worship service, Texans on Mission provided prayer tents and meals for more than 600 students.
It was such a blessing to help feed our youth both physically and spiritually. Thank you Westside Baptist for all you do for the Kingdom.
