D.L and Virginia Baxley were among those who had to deal with the aftermath of damaged trees after a tornado-spawning storm in Temple. D.L. is a former Texans on Mission (then Texas Baptist Men) volunteer, and a new generation of volunteers came to his rescue.
"I'm a big proponent of Texas Baptist Men," said Gary Baxley (right), son of D.L. and Virginia. "I've been around that ministry for pretty much my whole life. ... Texas Baptist Men are here helping with their tree problem, and we’re just so grateful. God bess you for your ministry."
