TBM Disaster Relief teams were meeting needs after a tornado in Orange County, Texas before the storm had ended.
The local TBM Deep East Texas team was surveying damage and pulling out their chainsaws even as the tornado continued spinning in the area. They were later joined by other TBM teams who multiplied the service. In all, TBM volunteers completed work at 25 houses.
TBM chainsaw teams cut and remove fallen limbs and trees after disasters for free, saving homeowners thousands of dollars. As they provide practical help, they connect with residents, giving people an opportunity to unpack the trauma they've experienced. TBM volunteers also offer to pray with people as well as a Bible after they've completed each project.
