TBM: Texans on Mission's second team left for Israel Wednesday, Oct. 18, while about half of the first team is returning home.
"The first team is doing extremely well," said John Hall, TBM's chief mission officer. "They're safe and have found a groove. In fact, they were setting up for about 2,000 meals today in Israel," Hall said Thursday, Oct. 19.
TBM sponsored 50 medical professionals earlier in the week so they could begin serving in Israel, Hall said. "Those doctors, nurses and paramedics are treating patients across the country. This is vital work in a country that badly needs medical professionals.
"We're going to keep sending volunteers as long as the need persists," he continued. "Thank you for praying as volunteers continue serving. With all the twists and turns of the war, it makes a tremendous difference."
