TBM received a call for help at 5:15 p.m. Wednesday from the Garland Emergency Management Office. Lake Colony Apartments did not have water and needed bottled water. TBM Disaster Relief and warehouse staff jumped into action and delivered 84 cases of water at 6:30, said David Wells, TBM Disaster Relief director.
This kind of crisis will not make the news, but it met a real need among those apartment residents. They now know, if they didn't before, that a group of people who follow Jesus care enough about their neighbors to help them in the midst of a challenge.
