This week, Missouri college students worked with Texans on Mission volunteers to feed Houston residents.
The need for relief continues as many are still waiting to regain power, and day after day the spirit of service remains steadfast.
These college volunteers helped prepare 29,000 hot meals over the past five days, and we are more than grateful for their willingness to learn how to help such a large number of people recover at this time.
The students’ “selfless attitude comes from Christ as our example of service,” said TJ Bettis, Missouri Baptist Disaster Relief intern.
