Through our local partners, TBM continues to provide thousands of meals a day as war continues Israel and Gaza. People are dying and suffering across the region, and you are bringing:

  • Help by providing food for thousands who have been cut off from regular nutrition.
  • Hope by reminding the people we serve that even in a war-ravaged situation there are Christians in the far-off United States who offer spiritual and material support.
  • Healing through a relationship with Christ.

You are part of the critical prayer network that is undergirding everything God is seeking to do through TBM in Israel. Our volunteers speak of feeling this prayer support. If you've ever been the recipient of committed prayer support, you know that feeling. It is hard to express, but Philippians 4:5-7 expresses it for us.

Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus (NIV).

God promised His peace and provides it. God promised that in the midst of the world's travails, He will guard our hearts and minds in Christ.

Pray deeply. Pray often. And hold onto God's promises. This week, pray specifically for:

  • God to raise up and prepare TBM volunteers for the next team.
  • God to help TBM and its Israeli partners to know best how to expand capacity.
  • God to use these terrible circumstances to point people to Christ, the Redeemer.
  • God to move among the millions of Israelis and Palestinians to bring peace to the region.

In case you missed it last week: A lot of people have asked me what serving in Israel looks like. Let me invite you to watch this video to see it in action. Hopefully, it provides a glimpse of how this ministry works.

Thank you for continuing to lift up the Israeli and Palestinian people and TBM volunteers. God is working, and you are a vital part of His work.

Prayerfully,

Mickey Lenamon
