A Texans on Mission tractor-trailer delivers much-needed hay relief for Panhandle ranchers to the parking lot of First Southern Baptist Church of Fritch March 8. The load shown being unloaded is just one of the loads being brought in.
The photo below shows Eddie Elms (left) from Gilmer with some of the 34 bales of hay he donated to Panhandle fire victims. Also pictured are Texans on Mission volunteers Gene Walker (center) and Wayne Barrick (right) of Harmony-Pittsburg Association. Kenneth Landers (not shown) drove the rig.
We are doing so much in the Panhandle but are only able to share a little in each social media post. Here's a look at some details related to hay shared by Wendell Romans, incident command:
"What a day." The Hay Team was able to pray with many families, companies and corporations today that delivered items to us.
– A family from Council, Okla. brought 215 square bales of hay. They are sending 264 next
week for a total of 479 bales.
– Steve Allen delivered 12 rolls of hay from Boynton, Okla.
