TBM's Central Texas Christian Disaster Response Team jumped into action recently to help at-risk children in its area. Texas Child Protective Services needed to move out of a house in Temple and into one in Killeen, and the Central Texas team provided the needed help.
Situations like this occur occasionally as CPS contracts expire for houses across the state used to house children in need. When CPS loses a contract, it must quickly move all the furniture and other contents.
Helping CPS move helps keep kids in homes rather than other alternatives. It also empowers our TBM volunteers to minister to others.
"We are so very proud of these volunteers," said Rupert Robbins, associate director of TBM Disaster Relief
