When tornados, wind storms and hurricanes strike, they topple trees and break limbs throughout an area. That damage can cost homeowners thousands of dollars to remove. Limbs often prevent people from moving their vehicles or entering their homes, creating large barriers to people's recovery.

This training teaches basic skills on how to safely operate chainsaws while helping survivors after a disaster. Basic tree felling and bucking techniques will also be reviewed/introduced. This is a full-day course with classroom training followed by hands-on training with a chainsaw.
