Deliver help, hope and healing to the Panhandle
TBM: Texans on Mission Disaster Relief teams are meeting needs and ministering in the midst of the largest wildfire in Texas history.
Texans on Mission volunteers are on the scene near Fritch, where reports indicate the fire has impacted more than 100 homes in the area.
Multiple teams are serving in the area, including:
- A command center
- Shower/laundry unit
- Box unit
- Fire recovery and ash-out
- Feeding
- Security and electronic support
- Heavy machinery
- Chaplain
- Assessors
Texans on Mission is also actively seeking hay donations to help ranchers care for their animals after their land has been burnt. In a constantly-changing situation like this, disaster relief ministry is tricky and crucial. We are following God as He paves the way to serve.
“This is a dangerous situation,” Texans on Mission Executive Director/CEO Mickey Lenamon said. “The days ahead will require long hours of service in a sensitive situation. People have lost everything they own. They're looking for help. But they're also looking for hope for the days ahead.
